Fox Hollow's indoor classroom is a warm and inviting space with natural elements, learning corners, quiet play and storage for all of our outdoor exploring items.

We use our indoor classroom for morning drop off and snack and quiet/nap time, as well as when the weather is too extreme for us to go outside.

Fox Hollow has a main outdoor classroom in the woods behind Barstow's main building that includes shelters, sit spots and natural play equipment.  We also spend our time exploring additional sites. Each day, Fox Hollow learners travel to one or more of these sites and do their learning and exploring in these spaces.

Barstow's property connects with the East Creek Trails, which wind through Chittenden along the stream and through the woods. There are plenty of different areas and ecosystems to explore! Little learners can travel near or far depending on what their group is up for!
